Investment Officer Training

First Public has formed an alliance with Texas State University to help our government clients fulfill their investment officer training requirements more conveniently and cost-effectively.

Through a range of online courses, the university allows you to earn your required hours of investment officer training, dependent upon the type of government entity at your own pace, from your home or office.

Simply visit the university's website, customize your curriculum, register, and you're on your way. Once your books arrive in the mail, you'll have eight weeks to finish the online coursework. When you're done, you'll receive your certificate of completion in the mail. No travel or time away from home—just results.

Get started by visiting the Texas State University website or contact Dr. Howard R. Balanoff at 512.245.3453.

In addition to the online training, First Public conducts Investment Officer Training each fall at the TASA | TASB Convention.
